The Rapiscan 515 is a dual energy, compact X-ray system for space restricted installations. Dual energy imaging provides automatic color coding of materials with different atomic numbers so that screeners can easily identify objects within the parcel. The system is equipped with a removable control panel to facilitate mobility.

The Rapiscan 515 offers a tunnel opening of 640mm (25.2 inches) wide by 430mm (16.9 inches) high.

The Rapiscan 519

The Rapiscan 519 is a compact, single energy X-ray system for space restricted installations. The system is equipped with a locking cabinet at its base where the monitor can be safely stored when not in use. The folding control panel can also be locked. Its superior image quality and enhanced features provide the essential tools for contraband detection.

The Rapiscan 519 system offers a tunnel opening of 520mm (20.47 inches) wide by 320mm (12.6 inches) high to accommodate mail and small parcels.

 

The Rapiscan 520S

The Rapiscan 520S has been designed to provide all the features and high performance associated with the 500 series X-ray machines, while also maintaining compact dimensions. The large lockable castors and fold-up conveyors, combined with a narrow overall width of 734mm (28.9 inches) enable the Rapiscan 520S to be deployed in space constrained environments. A key benefit of the Rapiscan 520S is that it can be easily wheeled through standard size doorways whereas a full size X-ray machine cannot.

The Rapiscan 520S has a tunnel opening of 550mm (21.35 inches) wide by 360mm (14.04 inches) high.

The dependable 522B offers a full range of options and excellent image quality.

The Rapiscan 522B has a larger tunnel opening of 750mm (29.5 inches) x 550mm (21.6 inches) to accommodate larger luggage and parcels which cannot be screened with other X-ray systems.
 

Rapiscan 527

The dual energy Rapiscan 527 is designed for customers requiring inspections of checked baggage and small cargo. Dual energy imaging provides automatic color coding of materials with different atomic numbers so that screeners can easily identify objects within the parcel. The Rapiscan 527 can be used as a standalone device or integrated into an existing baggage conveyor system.

The Rapiscan 527 has a large tunnel opening of 1,000mm (39.4 inches) wide by 1,000mm (39.4 inches) high.

Rapiscan 620XR

The Rapiscan 620XR has a large tunnel opening of 620mm (24.4 inches) wide by 420mm (16.4 inches) high. The center drive roller design allows for bi-directional operation. In addition, the system is equipped with folding conveyors to permit relocation and access through doorways and elevators. Also, the control panel can lock in a vertical position for secure storage.

The Rapiscan Secure 1000®

is the most effective people screening solution available. The system produces high resolution images that enable the operator to easily identify concealed threat and contraband items. The Rapiscan Secure 1000 is ideal for high security environments because both organic (e.g. explosives, narcotics, ceramic weapons) and inorganic (e.g. metal) materials are apparent in the image.

HOW Secure 1000 TECHNOLOGY WORKS

A Backscatter image is produced as a result of Compton Scattering. When the emitted beam contacts organic materials, it is “scattered back” toward the system. The information is received by high resolution detectors and passed to advanced image processing software to display both organic and inorganic materials to the operator while protecting the privacy of the person being screened.

Threat Image Projection (TIP): TIP inserts digital threat images at configurable frequencies into the regular flow of bags. TIP is a reliable method for continually improving the skill level of screeners and is the preferred training method used by regulatory agencies worldwide.

Network Display Station (NDS): NDS improves threat detection, throughput, and simplifies operating procedures by enabling the operator performing a manual search of suspect bags to reconcile the actual bag contents with the scanned image.

Network Management System (NMS): Allows a supervisor to monitor the performance of many X-ray checkpoints in a large facility from a single location.
